Obituary
Alfred Marcum, age 51 of Maple Grove School Road, passed away on Friday at his residence. He was the son of the late Bill Marcum and Lena Marcum Elza of East Bernstadt, KY. He was the father of Mekisha Marcum of London and Natasha R. Marcum Cobb and husband Andrew of London. He was the brother of Elmer Marcum of Keavy, KY, Stanley Marcum and Clifford Marcum both of London. He is survived by his companion Sharon Shepherd. Funeral services for Alfred Marcum, Jr. will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House Rawlings Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Henson and Rev. Johnny Schell officiating. Burial will follow in the Merrimac Cemetery in London. The family of Alfred Marcum, Jr. will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at House Rawlings Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to House Rawlings Funeral Home.
