Rev. John R. Jones, age 85 the husband of Mag Nola Jones of Fifth Street, London passed away on Friday at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. He was the father of Edna Murphy and Ida Arthur both of London and was preceded in death by one son Dennis Jones. He was the brother of Mae Copper of Spruce Pine, NC and Lou Ogden of Hammond, IN.
Funeral services for Rev. John R. Jones will be conducted on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House Rawlings Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Owens and Rev. Ken Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Bruner Cemetery in London.
The family of Rev. John R. Jones will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the chapel of House Rawlings Funeral Home.
