Altha Partin

Altha Partin, age 89 of London, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She leaves behind three children, Janice McPhetridge and husband Jerry Wayne of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, Sue Fields and husband Rufus of London, Kentucky, and Ronald Lee Partin, also of London; son-in-law, Larry Grant of Corbin, Kentucky; one sister, Nannie Davis of Annville, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Howard Partin; second husband, Earl Pennington; one daughter, Shirley Partin Grant; parents, Robert Murray & Jenny Hurley Murray; one sister, Lula Ingram; two brothers, Roy Murray and Bobby Murray. Funeral services for Altha Partin will be conducted on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Owen Edwards and Rev. Denny McCowan officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery. The family of Altha Partin will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church. House-Rawlings Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
