Barbara Hensley

Barbara Hensley, age 46, of Manchester, Kentucky passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She leaves behind her loving husband, Oliver Hensley; her father, Dock Lawson; three children, Gerald Lawson of Manchester, KY, Margaret Lawson & husband Josh of Lily, KY, and Ethan Hensley of Manchester, KY; six siblings, Lonnie Lawson of Lily, KY, and Arvis Lawson, Helen Bowling, Carrie Swafford, Tina Lawson, Donnie Lawson, all of Manchester, KY; one grandchild, Reghan Joe Hensley, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her mother, Aretha Wagers Lawson; and by two brothers, Hurley Phillips and John Henry Lawson. Barbara was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family. Funeral services for Barbara Hensley will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Richard Sams and David Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Lower Sadler Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2020 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
