Beaulah Mae Burns

–

London, Kentucky

In Loving Memory of Beaulah Mae Burns

Born October 20, 1947, and passed away November 1, 2026.

Beaulah Mae Burns passed away peacefully in her home on November 1, 2026, at the
age of 79. She will be remembered for her persistent will and strength, feisty
personality, and the love she had for her family and friends.

She is survived by her four daughters Wanda Evans (Brad), Corbin, Ky, Kim Burns,
London, Ky, Marietta Burns, London, Ky and Missie Bolen (Wayne), Florence, Ky., four
grandchildren: Chelsea Bentley (David), Casey Mills (Christian), Payton King and Dax
Bolen, and six great grandchildren: Bo, Trip and Coco Bentley, Paisley and Grayson
Mills and Salem Hoover and her sister Annetta Prenatt plus many other family and
friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Taft and Callie Horn, her brothers
Lincoln Smith, Percy Horn, and Ernie Horn and her husband Billie Ray Burns of 50+
years. She was cared for at her home up until her death and was given the care and
comfort she so truly deserved each day. Some may even say she was spoiled but
rightfully so.

Throughout her life, Beaulah created a lasting impact on those she met as she knew no
stranger. In fact, she was known by many as “mom”. Although Beaulah’s hobbies
changed over the years from quilting, canning, and yard selling to simply spending time
with her family, friends and attending church, a few things always remained the same,
her love for a good cup of coffee and a cigarette in the mornings.

Beaulah lived a simple life, never needing too much to be happy. We believe her
greatest joys were found in the everyday moments, the comfort of her home, the love of
her family and knowing those she loved were taken care of. Beaulah, at times, was a
giver of tough love, and always spoke her mind. Those that knew her understood that
behind her strong character was an even stronger love.

Though she will be deeply missed; her love and feisty spirit will remain in and with us
always. She will always be Toot Babe.

Beaulah was a member of Measurement of Faith Church.

In accordance to her wishes, a cremation has taken place. Her ashes will be laid to rest
alongside her beloved husband, Bill. A private graveside service will be held by the
family in days to come. 2 Timothy 4:7 – “I have fought the good fight, I have finished
the race, I have kept the faith.”
