Ben Chesnut Jr.

Ben Chesnut Jr., age 88 of Hamilton, Ohio and formerly of London, Kentucky passed away on Friday, July 24, 2021 He leaves behind four children, Darryl Chesnut & wife Mary, Kevin Chesnut & wife Heather, Karen Chesnut, Angie Hibbard & husband Larry; two brothers, Eddie Chesnut and Arthur Chesnut; a brother-in-law, Dewey Harris; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Wallace Chesnut; his parents, Ben Chesnut Sr. and Marie Brown Chesnut; two siblings, Arnold Chesnut and Sue Harris; a grandson, Donnie Chesnut; and a great granddaughter, Adalynn Parker. Ben worked in concrete for 43 years before retiring as a foreman for Baker Concrete. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Paducah Avenue Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral services for Ben Chesnut Jr. will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Russell Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Pittsburg Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 31, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
