Benjamin "Benny" Lee Mayton Jr.

Benjamin “Benny” Lee Mayton Jr., age 52 of Corbin, KY, husband of Lisa Mayton, passed away on Thursday, July 7 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Along with his loving wife of 28 years, he leaves behind his father, Benjamin Lee Mayton Sr.; three children, Loyd McNew and wife Felisha of Corbin, KY, Lee Mayton and wife Brittany of Corbin, KY, and Elizabeth Blackaby and husband Travis of London, KY; two sisters, Brenda McGuire and husband Thomas of Augusta, GA and Diana Sikes and husband Donald of Hephzibah, GA; five grandchildren, Austin Mayton, Madison McNew, Kaleb Blackaby, Jackson McNew, Abigale Mayton, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Sue Davis Mayton; one brother, Donald Edward Mayton; and one nephew, Donnie Sikes. He was a carpet installer, of the Baptist faith and loved and cherished his family and friends. Funeral services for Benjamin “Benny” Lee Mayton Jr. will be conducted on Saturday, July 9 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Cathers officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller-Helton Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour, also on Saturday at the funeral home.
