Billie Jean Smith

Billie Jean Smith, age 65, of London, Kentucky passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. She leaves behind two children, Tiffany Ball and Nathan French II, both of London, Kentucky; four siblings, Rick Overbey & wife Hope, Danny Overbey & wife Kelly, Jeff Overbey & wife Regina, Cathy Asher & husband Marvin, all of London, KY; four grandchildren, Dalton Hampton, Ben Hampton, Kennedy Pennington, Lucas Bundy, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Smith; her parents, Billy Bearl Overbey and Alma Jean Smith Overbey; one son, Brandon French; and by three siblings, Linda Overbey, Brenda Overbey, Tilford Overbey. Billie Jean was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She loved her kids, grandkids, and her dogs. Funeral services for Billie Jean Smith will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Danny Overbey and Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Smith Family Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
