Brenda Sue Wagers

Brenda Sue Wagers, age 68, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. She leaves behind four children, Stephanie Zeo & husband James, Mark Robinson & wife Tabitha, and Jerry Robinson, all of London, KY, and Belinda Brown & husband James of Corbin, KY; four siblings, Irene Wagers of Crab Orchard, KY, Nancy Hibbard of London, KY, Louise Couch of Okala, FL, Linda Wilkinson of TN; eleven grandchildren, Derek Robinson, David Chandley, Jonathan Robinson, Olivia Robinson, Kim Deaton, Stacey Elwood, Samantha Elwood, Jacob Robinson, Abigail Robinson, Cierra Robinson, Houston Wilson; fifteen great grandchildren, Caden Robinson, Devin Johnson, Elaina Robinson, Hunter Chandley, Lane Robinson, Loreleigh Robinson, Aerial Chandley, Liam Chandley, Kasside Deaton, Jackson Lucas, Connor Lucas, Zaharah Robinson, Zylee Robinson, Zekiel Robinson, Josiah Wren, Bryson Deaton, plus a host of other friends and family to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed Wagers and Thelma Wombles Wagers; her daughter, ATonya Elwood; and by three siblings, Todd Wagers, Shorty Wagers, and Darrell Wagers. Brenda worked as a cook for more than sixteen years at Sunrise Assisted Living in Ohio. She loved spending time with her family. Shopping was her most favorite activity. Brenda was of the Baptist faith. The family of Brenda Sue Wagers will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Merrimac Cemetery in London. The family has entrusted House Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
