Cathy Isaacs

Cathy Isaacs, age 71, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026.

A visitation was held at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083 on Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. EST on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home, 510 E. 4th St., London, Kentucky 40741. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday October 28, 2026 at Elijah Hensley Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky.

Cathy was born in Nuremburg, Germany on January 5, 1955 to Finley Hensley and Sudie Inez (Laswell). She attended schools in Richmond IN, graduating from Richmond High School in 1973. Several years later she earned an associate’s degree from Ivy Tech in Richmond, IN. For 17 years she worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Belden Wire and Cable. She also worked at Miller's Cafeteria, Disney, and Wayne Dairy. Cathy loved bowling, knitting children’s blankets, being outside walking, and loved laying in the sun on the beach. She was very much a cat fan and loved to travel. She was able to visit 47 states including Alaska. For their 25th Wedding Anniversary Terry and Cathy went to Germany to visit her birthplace. They were able to relocate to their dream location of Myrtle Beach SC in 2006, relocating to Belton, MO in 2023. She received care from Sunrise Nursing and Memory Care since July 2025.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Finley and Sudie; and sister Lois Simpson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Terry Isaacs; two children, Andrew Isaacs (Angela) and Emily McCroan (Tommy); two grandchildren, Aubree and Aaron Isaacs; brother, Doug Hensley; brother-in-law, Dave Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.
