Daisy Brock Durham

Daisy Brock Durham, age 98, of London, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She leaves behind one son, Jim Durham and wife Cathy of Corbin, KY; her stepson, Mike Durham and wife Sue of Newark, CA; one sister, Nellie Bledsoe of Prineville, OR; two brothers, Clifford Brock of Hamilton, OH, Delmas Brock and wife Joyce of London, KY; three grandsons, two step grandsons, four great grandsons, one great granddaughter, and one step great granddaughter. Preceding her in death were her parents, Johnnie Brock Sr. and Mary Chadwell Brock; her husband, Lonnie Durham; one son, David Durham; one stepson, Tony Durham; two sisters, Evelyn Wilson, Edna Pearl Nicholson; four brothers, Oscar Brock, Clyde Brock, Johnnie Brock Jr., Donald Brock. Daisy was a long-time member of Providence Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years. She was a retired teacher having taught school for 39 years. She truly enjoyed seeing and reminiscing with her students later in life. Teaching was her passion. Funeral services for Daisy Brock Durham will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Trent Pool and David Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 19, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
