Earl Wagers

Earl Wagers, age 68, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife, Dolly Gilbert Wagers; five children, Boyd Wagers, Lloyd Wagers, Earl Wagers Jr. and wife Lacey, all of London, KY, William Lee Wagers and wife Loretta, Billy Wayne Wagers, all of East Bernstadt, KY; five siblings, Evelyn Poynter of Mt. Vernon, KY, Reva Taylor and husband Floyd of Norwood, OH, Darlene Ritchie and husband Jerry of Norwood, OH, Marlene Wagers of Norwood, OH, Carl Wagers and wife Brenda of East Bernstadt, KY; eight grandchildren, Leland, Forrest, Jordan, Brandon, Braydon, Hunter, Hope, Julianna, plus a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Sally Smith Wagers; three siblings, Reathie Carter, Vernice Roberts, Merle Wagers; three grandchildren, Farmer Wagers, Faith Wagers, Shirley Wagers. Earl was a farmer. He loved to go hunting and fishing, and loved to mow his yard. He was a devoted husband and father who dearly loved his family. Funeral services for Earl Wagers will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Terry Abner and Denny McCowan officiating. Burial will follow at the Wagers Family Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. Pallbearers include William Lee Wagers, Lloyd Wagers, Boyd Wagers, Earl Wagers Jr., Dennis Roberts, Howard Fuston. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 9, 2021 beginning at 6:30 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
