Eileen McWhorter

Eileen McWhorter, age 89, of London, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at her home. She leaves behind three children, Robert (Bobby) Farthing & wife Donna of Atlanta, GA, Herbert (Herbie) Farthing of London, KY, Rachel Stein of Morristown, NJ; her sister, Zola Hisle; two grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. The family would like to thank Denise Kirby for being such a special neighbor and friend all these years. Thank you to Sara Cunningham for being a wonderful caregiver during this difficult time. She was preceded in death by her husband, George McWhorter; her parents, Vernon and Grace Miller Harrison; five siblings, Bernice Hisle, Herbert Harrison, Clyde Harrison, Beckham Harrison, Laban Harrison; a granddaughter, Danielle Hisle. Eileen was a member of Macedonia Methodist Church in London. She worked for more than ten years as a caregiver. She enjoyed quilting and baking cakes, and she loved attending bluegrass concerts with her husband. All services will be private. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
