Ethel Hurley Roark

Ethel Hurley Roark, age 70 of London, KY, widow of Raymond Roark, passed away on Sunday, February 19 at her home in London. She was born August 9, 1946 to the late Charlie & Lucy Fields Hurley. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, C.B., Walker and Earl Hurley, John and William Anderson; three sisters, Edna Holt, Pearl Houston and Alma Johnson. She is survived by one sister, Sandra Walters and husband Joseph of East Bernstadt, KY, plus several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was a retired desk clerk with Budget Host-Westgate Inn of London, KY and member of First Baptist Church in East Bernstadt, KY. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral services for Ethel Hurley Roark will be conducted on Friday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Glenn Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in the Earl Bowling Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m., also on Friday at the funeral home.
