Florence Katherine Rookard

Florence Katherine Rookard, age 88, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. She leaves behind her son, Jackie H. Rookard & wife Pam of East Bernstadt, KY; two grandchildren, Jaclyn Rookard & Tyler Fields, Wade Rookard & fiancé Macie McDaniel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie W. Rookard; her parents, Riley & Ora Barrett Holt; and by two siblings, Casper Holt & Vernon Holt. Florence was a homemaker, who was dedicated to her family and loved being with them. She was a faithful member of Carmichael Community Church and a lifetime member of the Gideons International Auxiliary. A funeral service honoring Florence Katherine Rookard will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jeff Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at A. R. Dyche in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be Jack Rookard, Wade Rookard, Tyler Fields, David Posey, Wes Rookard and John Holt. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Holt, Michael Holt and Guy Rookard. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Carmichael Community Church or to Gideons International. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
