***NEW SERVICE DATES DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER*** George Holland, age 90 of London, KY, husband of Loyce Eileen Holland, passed away on Saturday, January 13 at St. Joseph Hospital in London. Along with his loving wife of 64 years, he leaves behind five children, Debra Messer and husband Gary of London, KY, Delilah Gilbert of London, KY, Rhonda Moore of London, KY, Georgiana Cowden of Corbin, KY, Cecil Holland and wife Mary of Manchester, KY; one brother, Bobby Joe Holland of Richmond, IN; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Polly Holland; five sisters; four brothers and one grandchild. He was a retired employee of Sara Lee Bakery and of the Pentecostal faith. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Funeral services for George Holland will be conducted on Saturday, January 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
