Gigi Bacon

Gigi Bacon, age 92, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. She leaves behind her husband, Tommy Bacon; three children, Kim Adair of London, KY, Victor Bacon of Louisville, KY, John Bacon of Lexington, KY; one grandson, Colby Adair; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward P. Collier & Anna M. Jackson; seven siblings, Roy Collier, Boyce Collier, Roger Collier, Ed Collier Sr., Sam Collier, Ruth Collier, Jody Collier; and by her grandson, Jerold E. Adair. Gigi Bacon lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a love for both her family and community. As the owner of GECO Construction Inc., she built a successful business through determination, leadership, and an unwavering work ethic. She was respected by those who worked alongside her and took great pride in the company she established. During her younger years, Gigi was actively involved in many school organizations, reflecting her outgoing personality and wide range of interests. She was a member of the Y-Teens, Choral Society, Dormitory Club, Lyceum Committee, Newspaper Staff, and proudly served on the Varsity Cheerleading Squad. These experiences helped shape the vibrant, engaged woman she would become. A faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, Gigi's faith was an important part of her life and provided strength throughout the years. Those who knew Gigi will remember her sharp wit and wonderful sense of humor. She had a favorite saying that never failed to bring a smile: "Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead." It perfectly reflected her playful personality and the laughter she shared with family and friends. Above all, Gigi will be remembered for the love she gave to those closest to her. Her legacy of hard work, faith, humor, and devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A private graveside service for Gigi Bacon will be held for family and friends at McKee Cemetery in London, Kentucky. Family and friends will also be gathering for a home going celebration at the old Levi Jackson State Park, shelter number five immediately after the graveside service. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
