Herschel E. Hendrix Obituary (1929

Herschel E. Hendrix, age 91, of London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021. He leaves behind three children, Gene Hendrix & wife Sue, Janice Collins & husband Bobby, Joan Estridge & husband Rick, all of London, KY; three grandchildren, Monica Robinson & husband Rick, Christina Hensley & husband Daniel, Gena Lewis & husband Barkley; seven great grandchildren, Cameron Robinson, Jaydon Sevier, Lexi Sevier, Hannah Hensley, Kyra Lewis, Harper Hensley, Rylan Lewis plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Miller Hendrix; his parents, Wilson Hendrix and Pearlie Williams Hendrix; and seven siblings, Stanley Hendrix, Sim Hendrix, Carl Hendricks, Paul Hendrix, Aubrey Hendrix, Glenrose Hendrix Caudill, Bob Hendrix. Herschel was a self-employed electrician. He was a member of Lick Fork Community Baptist Church since 1959. He loved his family, his friends and his church. He also loved to travel and spend time with his kids and grandkids. Funeral services for Herschel E. Hendrix will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Sam Miller and Baxter Corum officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Salem Cemetery in London, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Cameron Robinson, Daniel Hensley, Rick Robinson, Johnny Floyd, Brett Coffey and Nicholas Minton. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Collins and Rick Estridge. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 17, 2021 beginning at 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral hour. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
