Idell Marcum Allen

Idell Marcum Allen, age 75, of Lily, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at her home. She leaves behind her husband, James Allen; six children, Loyd Wayne England & wife Lisa of Corbin, Major James Allen & wife Beverly of Lily, Pearlie Ann Abner & husband Nate of Lily, Martha Lynn Sizemore & husband Randy of Corbin, Merkie Kay Tompkins & husband Blake of Corbin, Brian Herman Hollin of Lily; five siblings, Elmer Marcum of London, Herman Marcum of Lily, C. H. Marcum of London, Eugene Marcum of East Bernstadt, Irene Marcum of Lily; eight grandchildren, Amanda Lentz, Herman Brown, Audrey Rice, Gina Sizemore, Sarah Abner, Ryan Tompkins, Baylie Tompkins, Brayden Tompkins; four great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Major Marcum and Pearlie Wombles Marcum; five siblings, Willie Marcum, Jonas Marcum, Bert Marcum, Birdie Marcum Hoskins, Ruby Marcum Allen; her grandmother, Sarah Wagers. Idell was of the Holiness faith and was a member of Coal Port Holiness Church in Artemus, KY. She was a housewife. Funeral services for Idell Marcum Allen will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Roe Gibson and Charles Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2019 beginning at 5:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
