James Edward Evans, age 74, of London, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kathy Rush Evans; eight children, Dustin James Evans of London, KY, Casey Messer & husband Bobby of London, KY, Robert Joseph Hacker & wife Kaleah of Tampa, FL, Preston Bo Evans & wife Chrissy of Pittsburg, KY, James Edward Evans Jr. of Corbin, Ky, Lisa Mae Miller of London, KY, Shelia Ann Smith of London, KY, Michael Wayne Evans of London, KY; five sisters, Margie, Fonneil, Loretta, Joyce, Jackie; four brothers, Dewey, Lee, Wayne, Charles; nineteen grandchildren, Jordan, Tanner, Madison, Gage, Sonny, Bryce, Chase, Kadia, Jeremy, Cheyanne, Heather, Charity, Stephanie, Patricia, Carrie, Mindy, Chris, Chasity, David; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Sylvia McGee Evans; his daughter, Kayla Jean Evans; two siblings, Marvin Evans, Ruby Zimmer. James liked to fish, mechanic, and watch baseball. He loved motorcycles, four wheelers and being outdoors. He was of the Holiness faith. Funeral services for James Edward Evans will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Steve Mullins and David Sturdivant officiating. Burial will follow at Elza Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 2, 2021 beginning at 6:30 p.m. also at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dustin Evans, Preston Evans, Derik Neace, Bob Messer, Jordan Marcum and Tanner Marcum.
