Janet Lousie "Lou Lou" Carson Obituary (1944

Janet Louise “Lou Lou” Carson was born on December 31, 1944 in East Bernstadt, Kentucky to the late William Carson Sr. and Beatrice Nelson Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Carson Sr. and Beatrice Nelson Carson; and by her brothers and sisters, Madelle Spencer, Clifford “Fox” Carson, Roy “Pepper” Carson, Betty Baker, William Carson Jr, James “Jimbo” Carson, Johnny “Ralph” Carson. She is survived by her two sisters, Dianna Baker & Marsha Carson of East Bernstadt, KY’ a special nephew, Michael Baker; special nieces, Debbye Allen, Darlene Stigall, Becky Baker; plus a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family saddened by her death. Janet “Lou Lou” attended Altamont Baptist Church where she was a loyal member and was in the choir. She loved to lay around and watch Westerns and wrestling. Janet “Lou Lou” Carson departed this life on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the age of 81 years, 4 months, 29 days. The family of Janet “Lou Lou” Carson would like to thank everyone for their prayers, phone calls, and acts of kindness. They would also like to thank Corbin Health Rehabilitation Center staff and members. A funeral service honoring Janet “Lou Lou” Carson will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Janice Elaine Baker and Ricky Carson officiating. Interment will follow at Pittsburg Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the service hour, also at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be Sam Baker, Bob Baker, Calvin Baker, Ronnie Baker, John Baker Jr., and Bronson Baker. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Carson, Michael Baker, William Baker, Leevontess Spencer, William Carson and all nephews. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
