Jeffrey D. Parker, age 48, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026. He leaves behind his loving wife, Amanda Johnson Parker; two children, Michaela Rebecca Parker-Pennington & Megan Viola Parker, both of London, KY; two grandchildren, Theodore Lazarus & Clementine Le; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley D. & Janice Smith Parker; his brother, Bradley David Parker; his nephew, Riley Tate Parker. Jeffrey enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and could often be found casting a fishing line in search of his next great catch. He was a dedicated fan of the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on. He also had a deep appreciation for country music, which provided the soundtrack to many of his days. A man of strong faith, Jeffrey loved reading and studying the Bible. His faith served as a guiding light throughout his life and was reflected in the kindness and compassion he showed to others. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for conversation. Whether sharing stories, offering encouragement, or simply visiting with friends, Jeffrey could make anyone feel welcome and valued. Jeffrey also found great joy in gardening. He took pride in tending his plants and watching the fruits of his labor grow, finding peace and satisfaction in working with the earth. Above all, Jeffrey will be remembered for his friendly nature, generous heart, and genuine love for people. His conversations, laughter, and unwavering faith will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to bloom like the gardens he so lovingly cared for and will live on through the many lives he touched. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
