Joan Whittemore

Joan Whittemore, age 63, of Annville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at her home. She leaves behind her loving husband, Carl Whittemore; three children, Phillip Carl Whittemore & wife Beckie of East Bernstadt, Christopher Whittemore of Annville, Darlene Michelle Oakley of East Bernstadt; five siblings, Curtis Delph & wife Stella of London, Garry Delph and wife Bernice of East Bernstadt, Darlene Helton & husband Ivan of East Bernstadt, Calvin Delph & wife Della of East Bernstadt, Barbara Peters of London; fourteen grandchildren, Josh Wells, Austin Whittemore, Natasha Whittemore, Tristan Oakley, Amber Oakley, Christian Oakley, Kaitlyn Adams, Rain Adams, Shane Whittemore, Blake Whittemore, Cameron Whittemore, Dylan Whittemore, Cole Whittemore, Ethan Whittemore; six great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Jean Smith Delph; her daughter, Regina Lynn Whittemore; and her brother, Phillip Wayne Delph. Joan was a homemaker who loved her family. She loved the outdoors and loved to fish. She enjoyed baking cakes and cooking. She also loved to watch storms roll in, and enjoyed the thunder the lightning. She was a fan of scary and sci-fi movies. Funeral services for Joan Whittemore will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Josh Durham officiating. Burial will follow at the Whittemore Family Cemetery in East Bernstadt. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2020 beginning at 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
