Joyce Nicholson Humfleet, age 82, of London, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly in London. She leaves behind three children, Lisa Gail Humfleet Brock & husband Gerald of Carrollton, KY, Connie Humfleet Finley & husband Earl of Richmond, KY, and Janice Annette Humfleet of London, KY; three siblings, Velna Nicholson Gilbert, Stanley Nicholson & wife Wilma, John Michael Nicholson & wife Nellie, all of London; five grandchildren, Barton Paul Brock & wife Marlena, Charles Justin Brock, Felicia Spring Brock Sinks & husband Brandon, Logan Earl Brock & wife Connie, and Michelle Lefurgy; six great grandchildren, Haley Brock, Trent Brock, Aidan Sinks, Kayla Daniel, Sierra Johnson, and McKenna Minix; one great-great grandson, Ayden Daniel, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ford Humfleet; her parents, John Clinton Nicholson and Thena Owens Nicholson; four siblings, Jess Nicholson, Monty Gene Nicholson, Donald Forrest Nicholson, Lolla Pearl Nicholson. Joyce was a homemaker and a member of Weaver Baptist Church. Funeral services for Joyce Nicholson Humfleet will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Brother Randy Philpot officiating. Burial will follow at Humfleet Cemetery in London, KY. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 22, 2020 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
