Jr. Smith, age 50, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife, Marcie Rader Smith; his mothers, Phyllis Smith and Gracie Parker; four siblings, Samantha McMillian of London, KY, Tracie Johnson of East Bernstadt, KY, Steven Smith & wife Angie of East Bernstadt, KY, Michael Smith of East Bernstadt, KY; his mother-in-law, Marvina Hicks of London, KY; his brothers-in-law, Earl Rader of East Bernstadt, KY and Chris Kirkland of London, KY; his sisters-in-law, Dovie Hensley and Dovie Kirkland; special friends, Angel & Dana Edwards of Manchester, KY, Ashlie Doan of East Bernstadt, KY, Courtney Caudill of East Bernstadt, KY, Caleb Benge of London, KY, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Robert Smith Sr; and three siblings, D.J. Parker, Frankie Parker, Shane Smith. Jr. attended God’s Refuge Church in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He was a loving husband who was strong in his faith. He enjoyed singing, camping and arrowhead hunting. He was a very humble man and loved his family dearly. He never met a stranger. Funeral services for Jr. Smith will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Josh Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Litton Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 beginning at 6:30 p.m. also at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Earl Rader, Harold Harris, Jeremy Harris, Austin Caldwell, James Branstutter, Chris Caudill, Anthony Durham and Anthony Blankenship. Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Browning, Dylan Smith, Chuck Helton, Jamie Nixon, Dawson Durham, and Brandon Hickson. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
