Lillian "Kay" Wilson

Lillian “Kay” Wilson was born September 4, 1955 to Ken and Posie Root. Kay departed this life on July 4, 2020. She was a member of the Dayspring Family Worship Center in Corbin, KY. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Root, and an infant son, Hunter Wilson. She leaves behind a host of family and friends to mourn her passing: Her son, Chantz McPeek & wife Katie; her stepson, Garrick Wilson and his son Kayden; her mother, Posie Conley and stepmother, Sally Root; her sister, Patti Baker & husband David; her nieces, Shana Noe & Kelly Noe; two brothers, David Root & wife Debbie, and Tony Root; her nephews, David Lee Root and Tony Lee Root; a niece, Heather Root; her aunt, Ruth Holt, as well as two very special grandchildren, Charlie and Presley McPeek. Funeral services for Lillian “Kay” Wilson will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jim Cook and Ryan Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
