Lois Janet Combs Messer

Lois Janet Combs Messer, age 76, of Walland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. She leaves behind three children, Loyd Messer & wife Trish of Ocala, FL, Sue McMannis & husband Ted of Walland, TN, Jay Messer & wife Hailey of Knoxville, TN; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Messer; her parents, Chester and Viola Mosley Combs; and by three children, Roy Messer Jr., Chester Messer, and Russell Messer. Lois was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a wonderful mother who loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids dearly. She showed love to everyone she met. Funeral services for Lois Janet Combs Messer will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McDaniel Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
