Mabel Rudder Lloyd

Mabel Rudder Lloyd, age 99, of London, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

She leaves behind her son, Don Estep & wife Karen of London, KY; two grandchildren, Mike Estep & Marc Estep; three great grandchildren; two siblings, Pauline Black, Kathleen George, all of London, KY; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Frank Lloyd; her parents, C.B. and Julia Byrley Rudder; and by one sister, Pearl Dean Brown.

Mabel was a loving and devoted woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. She will be remembered for her strong spirit, independent nature, and the love and care she gave to those around her.

Mabel was a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church in London, where her faith was an important part of her life. Her faith provided her with strength and comfort, and she treasured the fellowship she shared with her church family.

Mabel was known for being a very independent woman. She had a strong will and a determination to do things for herself, qualities that those who knew her admired and respected. She lived life in her own way and remained true to herself.

Above all, Mabel loved her family. She cherished the time they spent together and took great pride in the people she loved. Her family will remember her not only for her strength and independence, but also for the love she showed them throughout her life.

Mabel leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, strength, and family devotion. She will be deeply missed, but the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and friends for years to come.

A visitation for Mabel Lloyd will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. A private burial will follow. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
