Margie Jane Turner

Margie Jane Turner, age 84, of London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She leaves behind two children, Lisa Lynn Turner, Anita Frazier & husband Danny, all of London, KY; eight grandchildren, Dawn Marie Lease, Bryan Keith Johnson, David Turner, Adriane Manes, Alyssa Lansaw, Adalee Frazier, William Russel Turner, John Frazier; eleven great grandchildren, Cadence, Kennedy, Lexi, Jacob, Ally, Emily, Graham, Bailey, Tori, Matthew, Adison; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel Paul Turner; her parents, Frank & Alice Robinson Spurlock; and by seven siblings, Frank Jr., Jeffery, Betty, Lucy, Mary Bell, Rosie, Hazel. Margie was a beloved member of Campground Pentecostal Church and was known for her unwavering faith and love for her Savior, Margie dedicated her life to attending church and serving the Lord with all her heart. Her gift of music was a cornerstone of her ministry; she played the piano and sang in church, bringing joy and inspiration to all who heard her. Her faithfulness and talent touched many lives, leaving an enduring legacy of worship and praise. Margie was deeply devoted to her family, cherishing every moment spent with her loved ones. She also had a tender heart for animals, finding joy in their companionship. Her home was a reflection of her meticulous care, with a beautifully kept yard and vibrant flowers that showcased her passion for gardening. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, her dedication to the Lord, and her love for family, music, and nature. A funeral service honoring Margie Jane Turner will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jerry Laudermilk officiating. Entombment will follow at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lily, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
