Melissa Lewis, age 43, of London, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She leaves behind her husband, Bo Lewis; two children, Corey Dean Canada, Brady Lynn Lewis, both of London, KY; three stepchildren, Katelyn Lewis, Kaylee Lewis, Jessica Lewis, all of London, KY; four siblings, Joseph Edward Bates of Detroit, MI, Michael Lee Bates & wife Ashley of Detroit, MI, Amanda Jessica Lewis of London, KY, Nicole Donna Kasmer & husband Michael of Macedonia, OH, plus a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert David Jones & Sheila Roberta Bates; one sibling, Robert David Jones II; and by her first husband, Gary Dean Canada. Melissa was a homemaker who loved cooking and working with food. Her boys were her world. She was an extremely strong fighter. Funeral services for Melissa Lewis will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Carl Brock officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home.
