Michael Scott Rice

Michael Scott Rice, age 51 of East Bernstadt, passed away on Sunday, April 12 at UK Hospital in Lexington. He leaves behind his father, Oscar Rice; stepmother, Zelma Rice; mother, Alma Dixon; grandmother, Laura Morgan, all of East Bernstadt; daughter, Jessica Hunter of San Diego, California; one sister, Linda Aragon; two brothers, Richard J. and James R. Rice, all of East Bernstadt; two grandchildren; and nephew, Dominic Sanchez. Funeral services for Michael Scott Rice will be conducted on Friday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Rice Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-11:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, also at the funeral home.
