Pearl McGee

Pearl McGee, age 92 of London, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 9 at Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corbin, KY. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on July 5, 1924; daughter of the late James & Betty McGee. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Sanford, Rexford and Oscar McGee; sisters, Vernia Sandlin, Susie Gibson, Della, Tamsey and Lathia McGee and eight nieces and nephews. She leaves behind sixteen nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Garnett Gibson, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was a homemaker, farmer and member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was loved and adored by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Funeral services for Pearl McGee will be conducted on Tuesday, October 11 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, also on Tuesday at the funeral home.
