Retha Faye Lewis Herron

Retha Faye Lewis Herron, age 74 of Eatonton, GA (formerly of Cutshin, KY), passed away on Monday, March 7 at her residence. She leaves behind two children, Tammy Cole and husband Tim of Eatonton, GA and Rhonda Maughon and husband Mike of Monticello, GA; four grandchildren, Chris Cole, Gary Cole, Kayla Bates and Logan Cole; two great-grandchildren, Hallie and Easton Bates; three sisters; two brothers and her beloved dachshund, “Lil Mama,” plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Logan Cornett & Margaret Day and one brother. She was Lead Foreman with the Wellington-Puritan Company, attended Lake Side Church of Lake Oconee, GA and loved and adored her family and friends. Graveside services for Retha Faye Lewis Herron will be conducted on Thursday, March 10 at 12:00 p.m. at the Lewis Family Cemetery with Evangelist Brian Overbee officiating and burial following. House-Rawlings Funeral Home of London, Kentucky is assisting the family with arrangements.
