Rick Fields

Rick Fields, age 65, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kathy Mills Fields; three children, Pamela Schneider of Chicago, IL, Russel Fields & wife Leslie of East Bernstadt, KY, Mike Swafford & fiancé Autumn Young of Williamsburg, KY; one sister, Phyllis Stroup & husband Michael of East Bernstadt, KY; two grandchildren, Caelin Noel Hunt & husband Khristian, Sidney Swafford; one great grandchild, Delilah Hunt; special friends, Chad (Big Man) Shannon, Ed Hodge; his favorite mother-in-law, Eleanor Mills; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russel & Virginia Elza Fields; and by two siblings, Edward Fields, Lanny Ray Fields. Rick worked at Flowers Bakery for 32 years. He enjoyed listening to music, doodling, spending time with the grandchildren, and traveling with Kathy. He loved to make everyone laugh. He also took care of all the stray animals in the neighborhood. Funeral services for Rick Fields will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Rick Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Litton Town Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The pallbearers will be Chad (Big Man) Shannon, Ed Hodge (Metal Head Ed), Kevin Staats, Bobby Gray, Christian Hodge and Khristian Hunt. The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 18, 2023 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
