Robert (Bob) Chandler, age 84, of London, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, Willadene Rush Chandler; his son, Dean Chandler & wife Linda of Dunnville, KY; three siblings, Jeanette Chandler Johnson & husband Charles, Penny Chandler Evans & husband Gary, Donna Chandler McIntyre & husband Richard; four grandchildren, Brandon, Jennifer, Joshua, Brandi; three great grandchildren, Danny, Parker, Reed; plus, a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Paul Chandler and Anna Belle Taylor Chandler; and by nine siblings, James Chandler, Clara Joe Chandler, Pauline Chandler Burnett, Anna Martha Chandler Payne, Lida Hope Chandler Simpson, G. W. Chandler Sr., Sylvia Chandler Dunn, William (Bill) Chandler, Steve Chandler. Bob was a self-employed real estate developer and entrepreneur. He enjoyed traveling and hunting. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family who he loved very much. Bob was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services for Robert (Bob) Chandler will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Stephen Evans and Gary Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Slate Hill Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home.
