Scott J. Smith 66, of London, KY passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He leaves behind his loving wife Glenda R. Rich; three children, Michelle House & husband Don of McKee, KY, Scott Rich & wife Rosetta of McKee, KY, and John Rich of London, KY; five siblings, Ralph Jewell of Manchester, KY, James Jewell of Williamsburg, KY, Johnny Jewell of Manchester, KY, Peggy Burton of Mt. Vernon, KY, Tommy Jewell of Manchester, KY; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was proceeded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Sudie Smith Jewell, and one grandchild. He was a construction worker for 30 years, a veteran of the United States Army and of the Holiness faith. A funeral service for Scott J. Smith will be conducted on Saturday, June 23, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home in London, KY. The family will receive friends Saturday June, 23, 2018 after 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
