Thermon (Tim) Messer Obituary (1935

Thermon (Tim) Messer, age 87, of London, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years and the love of his life, June McGee Messer; four children, Sheila Williams, Darrell Messer, Nancy Messer, Cindy Messer, all of London, KY; a bonus son, Kolten Messer of London, KY; a daughter-in-law, Dee Dee Messer of Keavy, KY; two siblings, Eddie Messer of Keavy, KY, Sue Campbell of Sharonville, OH; three grandchildren, David Williams of London, KY, Ashley Person of Corbin, KY, Crystal Williams of Keavy, KY; a host of great grandchildren plus other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Etta Mae McVay Messer; one son, Thermon Dwayne Messer; and by two siblings, Bill Messer, Donnie Messer. Thermon worked at Westinghouse prior to retirement, and he also served our country in the United States Army. He was a faithful member and Deacon at Pine Grove Baptist Church in London. He loved his family, especially his wife. They had a love that lasted a lifetime. Thermon always had a smile on his face. He was loved by all who knew him. Funeral services for Thermon (Tim) Messer will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Pastor David Smith and Bro. Bobby Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2023 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Military honors will be provided by the local DAV Chapter 158 of Keavy, Kentucky. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
