Velmer “Butch” Johnson, Jr., age 69 of London, KY passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, KY. He leaves behind four children, Robert Lee Johnson & wife Pam of Port Orange, FL, Sharon Johnson Evans & husband Clark of Stanford, KY, Chuck Johnson of London, KY, Ronald Johnson & wife Crystal of Hazard, KY; four siblings, Billy Ray Johnson & wife Evelyn, Edward Johnson & wife Roberta, Jim Johnson, & Charles Johnson all of London, KY; & thirteen grandchildren, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. He was proceeded in death by his parents Velmer & Barbara Jackson Johnson, two siblings, Mary Elizabeth Johnson, Bobby C. Johnson & his companion Linda Flannery. He was a retired auto mechanic. A funeral service for Velmer “Butch” Johnson, Jr., will be conducted on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Larry Proffitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery in London, KY. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 5, 2018 after 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
