Wesley Shane Finley

Wesley Shane Finley, age 24, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025. He leaves behind his father, Rodney Finley; his mother, Jennifer Hillard & husband Mark; two siblings, Matthew Finley & Kylie Rarrieck of London, KY, Jacob Finley of Annville, KY; his grandparents, Ida Finley, Jeffery & Carrie Hunter; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Finley. Wesley was known for his warm heart, generous spirit, and passion for the simple joys of life. A talented chef, Wesley worked for many years at West Bay Resorts, where he poured his creativity and care into every dish he made. His love for cooking was matched only by his love for the water—he found deep peace and happiness being near the waves, whether working, boating, or simply enjoying the view. Wesley cherished his family above all else. His laughter, loyalty, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Wesley’s life was a testament to the beauty of living with heart, purpose, and love. He will be forever remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
